Image copyright problem with Image:Cplogo.gif
[edit]The image Image:Cplogo.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

New timetables, changes in services
[edit]On December 12, 2011, CP changed (nearly?) all timetables, changing the service map. In some cases, there were heavier changes, like in the Azambuja and Sintra lines.
So what does this means for this article? I may have skipped something, and I'm focusing on the Lisbon lines (mostly Sintra and Azambuja), but here goes:
- The number of services decreased – here I assume the current 9 is Cais do Sodré–Cascais and Praias do Sado–Barreiro, plus seven services for the Azambuja–Lisboa–Sintra line(s).
- This makes sense, as formerly this line had
- Azambuja–Lisboa/S.A.
- Castanheira do Ribatejo–Alcântara-Terra
- Sintra–Lisboa/Rossio
- Alverca–Meleças
- Lisboa/Oriente–Meleças
- Roma-Areeiro–Meleças
- Alverca–Monte Abraão
- Thus, 7 services. Alverca–Monte Abraão and Alverca–Meleças were replaced by Alverca–Sintra, and :Roma-Areeiro–Meleças was suppressed. Some of the other services changed slightly, but still exist.
- Now we have 5 services in these two lines, so I am updating the number of services in the box to 7.
- (But I wonder whether this is accurate, I guess the other two lines may actually have more than just one service per line...)
- The map changed – I guess this involves asking the authors of the maps if they can provide an updated version. We could always play with the rasterized bitmap, but maybe the authors have something easier to work with.
- Termini changed – As User:213.22.168.50 edited the list of "lines" to include the termini of the services, I am updating it while keeping it that way (I will have to reword it a bit to avoid making it too confusing, as now Sintra links both to Rossio and Alverca, while Meleças links to Oriente)
So I am making these changes! (This is just something too big to describe in the edit comment, and that's why I'm explaining it here.) Nuno J. Silva (talk) 20:52, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Just for a bit of context, here's the new list of services:
-
- Lisboa/Oriente–Meleças
- Sintra–Alverca
- Sintra–Lisboa/Rossio
- Azambuja–Alcântara-Terra
- Castanheira do Ribatejo–Lisboa/S.A.
- (All trains serve all stops, except Alverca–Sintra and Lisboa/Oriente–Meleças, which don't stop at Marvila and Chelas.) Nuno J. Silva (talk) 12:21, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
