" Each globule has a dense, dark, ruptured head and a very long tail, with the latter pointing away from the Vela Supernova Remnant"
[edit]Uhhh, I have read, and it makes more sense, that the tail points away from the ultra-hot Wolf_Rayet star Gamma Velorum. Which would make more sense. A WR star would have a very strong solar wind and exert significant radiation pressure on a cometary globule. More so than would a supernova remnant. 2001:8003:E40F:9601:2D3A:F1E:7E4E:4E4D (talk) 05:10, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
