Can someone please enter a paragraph as follows;
History of Rolex Watches; As western society transitioned into a post-industrial civilisation, spectacular progress in aircraft performance continued to expand our capacity to conquer the skies, leading to ever-increasing long-distance records. Among the early pioneers was British pilot Charles Douglas Barnard, who set a number of flight records with his trusty Rolex Oyster. He once commented, “The peculiar qualities of this Rolex watch render it eminently suitable for flying purposes, and I propose to use it on all my long-distance flights in the future.” Refer Rolex.com/watches/air-king/stuff-of-legend

Thanks for that; TNA file AIR 76/23/19, as usual with mixture of good and bad handwriting, shows 8.12.95 against date of birth, and what could be a question mark. No previous trace of place of birth, nor exact date of death, but present descendants have been encouraged to embark on family genealogical research. You have to remember that the date of birth registered at death may not be accurate depending on who registered it!. The birth index shows he was born in the Hendon district but the 1901 census (at Alma House, Pinner Road, New Bushey) it says says he was born in Cricklewood. In the 1911 he is at the Devon County School West Buckland and says he we born in Kensington! The birth index is more reliable but still only gives a general area for his birth.
