Name
[edit]I've put this back to the normal name. If we are going to start renaming Polish "main" stations as "central" out of some misguided Little Englanderism, we are going to hit disambiguation problems in Warsaw. Wheeltapper (talk) 14:32, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Once again I have put the article back to the common name in placer of the undiscussed move. Maybe someone could start a discussion at WP:NC-PLSTATIONS if they really want to try to come up with a general policy of giving Polish stations purely English names, free from the influence of foreigners with their funny lingo? A general discussion would avoid problems and confusion. Wheeltapper (talk) 16:19, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
- As you well know there is a RM discussion that will no doubt affect this article at Talk:Kaiserslautern Central Station, so we shouldn't jump the gun. Meantime please cite some English sources for the Polish name as I have done for the English name. BTW "Bydgoszcz Główna railway station" is Anglo-Polish anyway. Bermicourt (talk) 18:19, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
- If articles on Germany override consensus on Poland, why not go the whole hog and call it Bromberg Central Station? Is there any particular reason you chose this station to unilaterally rename "Central", rather than Warszawa Główna railway station? Wheeltapper (talk) 21:32, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
