Construction dates
[edit]The current article states the following incongruent items:
- Bryce opened in 1861.
- The construction was an important source of employment in Reconstruction-era Tuscaloosa.
The Reconstruction period was after the war, which began in 1861 and ended in 1865.
Perhaps another building was built after the war? If so, the article should be cleaned up for clarification. — Fingers-of-Pyrex 17:50, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
Bryce Hospital article
[edit]Link about Dr. Peter Bryce links to a physician of the same name in Canada. The Alabama mental health pioneer was from South Carolina and spent his entire career at the hospital in Tuscaloosa which now bears his name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.100.226.183 (talk) 02:46, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
