Maritime section desperately needs citations
[edit]I'm not going to go through the section with citation needed tags, but it is highly colloquial, assertive and needs to be overhauled. Statements like "Hundreds of ships have been wrecked on the rocks around the town" are quite strong and striking, and should be cited. It's a bit of a story-time tone as well.
Picture
[edit]This article has two copies of the same picture. Anyone have a better one? Britmax 16:21, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- A bit late but the question is still valid, if I can get time this weekend I'll try to go our and take some pictures. Birddrz
- The Cowtown carnival is nolonger around, it seems to have been replaced by "Brixham Hap'nin'" I'll try to think of a way to get that into the article Birddrz 21:32, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Population
[edit]How many people live in Brixham? It doesn't say. I believe that it is around 20,000, but that's a very rough estimate. Birddrz 20:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- According to Mouseprice.com ([1])the population is 20,234 (but it doesn't say when this figure was calculated.) Paul-b4 14:09, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Water Crisis
[edit]It would be a bit of an undertaking but the page should have a small section referencing the Cryptosporidium outbreak in 2024. It made national news, and may be a large catalyst in UK politics around water companies. Would anyone have any idea where to put this? Loic baj (talk) 11:52, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
