If there are 16 units, how can they be numbered 325 001 to 017? Where is the 17th? Coccodrillo (talk) 12:25, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Ancestry
[edit]Yh00157 (talk · contribs) has repeatedly edited this article to change its family from British Rail Mark 3 to Networker without either citation, changing the rest of the article text, or indeed any explanation. Along with that, they have also repeatedly changed Template:Mark 3-derived and Template:Networker to suit their version of reality, again without citation, comment or anything else to justify these edits.
I notice that British Rail Mark 3 also omits Class 325, but not through any recent changes. I don't want to fix this myself, as I'm not sure I can see the full facts either way, since there is no citation to show its ancestry from the British Rail Class 319. - Well, it's certainly got a Networker cab, not a class 319 cab, but of course the rest of the bodywork might be based upon the mark 3 design. The usual giveaway is the corrugated roof (see this photo of a class 317, the earliest of the Mk. 3 derived EMUs; or this photo of a class 319), whereas Networker multiple-units have a smooth roof (see this photo of a class 365). --Redrose64 (talk) 16:29, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Removal of low quality fan artwork
[edit]Do we really need these poorly drawn diagrams? We have plenty of photographs. The author gets seriously offended when they are removed, but seems unable to justify their inclusion:

- It's not poorly drawn at all. Agreed it needs some fettling but serves a purpose as a general diagram. Nightfury 11:26, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

- If you don't want your edit reverting, you need to cite a reference to a published reliable source. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:12, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
