history
[edit]im not so sure about this, but i heard that brickfields was the site of KTM train depot, or something, back in pre-independence era. so most original residents of brickfields were rail workers, where they live in rail quarters. most of the rail workers were indians from india, brought in by the brits. hence, this is why there is many indians living here today. any comments?--Kawaputra 10:05, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Brickfields → Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur – No clear primary topic, although this place gets more views (714) that Brickfield (176), The Brickfields gets 136 and Brickworks gets slightly more (715)[[1]]. Google doesn't appear to show anything for this place apart from this Wikipedia article which is offered down from the singular Brickfield, Images does mainly return this place but Books mainly returns things about bricks. "Brickfields" should redirect to Brickfield (disambiguation) per WP:DABCOMBINE as a compromise as there doesn't appear to be a primary topic for the plural. - Support. Not the primary topic. Redirect Brickfields to Brickfield (disambiguation). -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:40, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support. No clear primary topic. Move as proposed, and redirect Brickfields to Brickfield (disambiguation). Certes (talk) 19:50, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
