Unsubstantiated primate allegation

[edit]

The article states that Whitford was turned into a talking monkey's anus in 2008. This seems dubious. Moreover the species of monkey is never stated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.39.88.241 (talk) 19:59, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article could be much better, although I don't know enough to accomplish this myself. One glaring problem with it is that it mentions when Whitford left Aerosmith, but doesn't mention at what point he rejoined. Cowboydan76 04:15, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article twice mentions "Floyd Rose" as a type of guitar; Actually, Floyd Rose is a type of vibrtato bar found on many different types of guitars.

I have seen Whitford playing Gibson Les Pauls, Fender Strats, BC Rich and he is pictured playing a Gretsch in the article. 208.32.173.71 22:42, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article lists Whitford as the Rhythm Guitarist for Aerosmith. However, he's played MANY leads on Aerosmith songs (in songs such as Dream On, Last Child, Round and Round, Nine Lives, Love in an Elevator, Back in the Saddle, Sick as a Dog, Nobody's Fault, others I can't remember). I don't remember offhand how he's typically credited on Aerosmith liner notes (if memory serves, on Get a Grip it just said "Joe Perry - guitar, *whatever other instruments*, vocals" and "Brad Whitford - guitar"). Anyway, Joe Perry has played more leads, and is more visible, but I don't think it's accurate to portray one as the rhythm guitarist and one as the lead guitarist. Food for thought. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.94.123.87 (talk) 02:23, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Other Interests...

Is that section in the article really needed? I mean, it's just one short sentence stating that he is "an avid race car driver". I could see if it was a paragraph about it but just one short sentence isn't very helpful information so I think I'm going to remove it. Any questions, just say so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.0.55.55 (talk) 20:52, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dean gives this guy some major props in this interview. Just info that may or may not be usable for this article. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 20:28, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
