Possible plagiarism controversy?

[edit]

On the official website of Sniff 'n' the Tears and, more specifically, on their page for their "Fickle Heart" album, their frontman Paul Roberts claims that he actually wrote the lyrics for Born to Be Alive[1]. Could this perhaps be considered relevant? I've also put this question in the talk section for Patrick Hernandez. Perhaps some discussion and search for sources could lead to an informed consensus. 84.205.231.42 (talk) 06:39, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Official Lyrics to "Born to be Alive" (Song)

[edit]

Is there any source that can provide the official lyrics to this song?

I don't know why Wikipedia is not allowed to post lyrics on the pages that talk about a particular song, especially when there are too many conflicting lyric websites on the net. --Paula Bunion (talk) 17:25, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the entry for Born to be alive by Patrick Hernandez is correct. Whether it has always been this way or if it has been vandalized I don't know.

Born to Be AliveBorn to Be Alive (album) – The article was originally about the song. At some point, someone added the album below the song information. Later that information was removed here.[1]. In 2019, the song was inappropriately copypasted to a subpage [2]. The links were never fixed and several links pointing to this page are meant to be linked to the song instead. I am not opposed to move Born to Be Alive (song) back, but Born to Be Alive (album) is not the primary topic. (CC) Tbhotch 18:48, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
