Neutrality

[edit]

Much of the article gives undue importance to the practice of racial segregation in the South. It was not peculiar to Sikes' career, and it was not the defining or sole issue in Florida or even Southern politics at the time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.223.237.251 (talk) 15:59, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Robert L. F. SikesBob Sikes – Congressman Sikes was far more popularly known as "Bob" than "Robert" and hardly with his middle initials; the Bob Sikes Airport was even named after him. A google search "Bob Sikes" + florida congressman returns over 30k results, compared to nearly 2,000 for "Robert Sikes" + Florida congressman.

Problem is that Bob Sikes is currently a disambiguation page that duplicates Robert Sykes. Arbor to SJ (talk) 01:20, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
