[edit]What about when their vice principal got arrested a few years back for trying to pick up little kids over the internet? I attended both Hendricken and public school and there is nothing special about Hendricken academics. Someone has been doing marketing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.198.29.101 (talk) 04:56, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
The school is described as a good academic institution, but, with a few exceptions, the significant alumni seem to be athletes. Littlerhody (talk) 17:44, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
The article states that Hendricken is renowned for their academics throughtout new england but there is no real backing to this. They are renown for their athletic programs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.109.25.16 (talk) 22:09, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Please do not change the "H" to an "M". Try to be mature, and respect the school. Izaran 23:36, 11 September 2007 (UTC) Izaran
Discussion about "future" events such as a possible fifth division 1 basketball win have no place here and show a lack of respect for other schools. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.250.61.235 (talk) 00:56, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Perverted Justice
[edit]I just removed a block of text concerning the former Assistant Principal busted by Perverted Justice. Zoominfo and Perverted Justice alone are not good enough to support this on a page specifically about him, nevermind justifying its inclusion on the school page. While I was trying to verify the allegation I did come across a mention in the Providence Journal but that's about it. Unless someone has anything else it would be not only a WP:BLP concern but also just plain WP:UNDUE to include it here. --— Rhododendrites talk | 14:45, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
- Stop removing my text! You are clearly in league with the school and don't want this bad PR up on their wiki page. This is very old news and it should be on the wiki for potential parents to know to judge if they want their sons to goto a school or not. The reason I am linking to perverted justice and Providence Journal is because all of the other articles have been removed over time. This is from 2005-2006. These news websites unfortunately do not keep everything forever. what more do you want?? I will continue to put this back up, stop removing it. Kawaiibentobox talk
- No, I'm in league with Wikipedia, which does not censor but has strict rules for what can be included (see all the links I posted to your talk page), especially for living people. Age of the news doesn't matter. Wikipedia is not a parents' guide; it's an encyclopedia. That's why we also wouldn't include average GPA, colleges students go to, a list of faculty, etc. (unless significant reliable sources talk about them and it wouldn't be undue. I will not be removing it again because then I would be in violation of the three revert rule, as will you if you put it back up -- but someone else will remove it and almost certainly block you from editing. If there aren't sources there aren't sources. It's these rules that, while frustrating sometimes, ensure Wikipedia doesn't descend. It's not personal, it's certainly not because of any particular allegiance to this school (I'm the one that added the controversy section for crying out loud). --— Rhododendrites talk | 16:26, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

There shouldn’t be a controversies tab
[edit]Other schools’ Wikipedia pages do not include it and BHHS should not get special treatment Benjamin2rst (talk) 20:54, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
