- The article has had a "Mechanism of action" (MOA) section since 19 January 2009. For years it has been toward the end of the article, following sections with pharmaceutical details. Logically it belongs closer to the beginning, so it has just been moved up to a location immediately following the intro section. Piperh (talk) 12:12, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Side effects / safety
[edit]Missing: As I write this, the words "side effects," "safety," "safe," "over-the-counter," and/or "over the counter" do not appear anywhere in the article. In the United States, it is sold over the counter cheaply at Walmart, for example, 88 cents a bottle, so it must be relatively safe? 5Q5 (talk) 14:20, 2 July 2016 (UTC)

Historical aboratificant?
[edit]I'm reading a book set in the early 1900s and the protagonist takes something called a "liver pill" when she finds out she's pregnant. It doesn't end up being effective. Since "liver pill" redirects here, I was wondering if anyone knows if this substance had any historical use as an abortificant. Clovermoss (talk) 01:50, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
