Delegate Ali has made claims about the Baltimore Police Department which show he doesn't fully understand how it runs. This is bolstered by the article in The Baltimore Sun and quotes by Senator Mike Miller and Senator Joan Conway. Therefore, the piece about the Sun should not just reflect "the ongoing corruption trial" part, it should also reflect his lack of understanding of how the Baltimore Police Department is managed and financed. In the interest of academic fairness, his page needs to reflect all aspects of the article.
See quotes below:
Conway questioned Ali’s understanding of the police department, which is a state agency whose commissioner is hired by the mayor. - The Baltimore Sun
“I think Delegate Ali may have some issues like most of us do, but that is definitely not the answer,” she said. “I don’t think he fully understands what he’s saying but I will definitely talk to Del. Ali.” - Senator Joan Conway
Sen. Conway called into question Del. Ali’s understanding. That's one person's opinion, or two, since you appear to agree. That is not the same as having a Wikipedia article state as an encyclopedic fact that Del. Ali’s words called into question his understanding. Sen. Miller's quotes do not support your point. They only show that he disagrees with Del. Ali. -- Pemilligan (talk) 16:22, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
