Cleanup Issues
[edit]Future Cleanup Needed (August 11, 2006)
[edit]Now that this article has recieved so many expansions. It has come to my attention that round of cleanup may be necessary in the future. I will try to examine the article later in the week. However, if someone else finds a large error in the article before I am able to examine it. Please, feel free to add any necessary cleanup tags and contact me via my talk page. Wslupecki 11:50, 11 August 2006 (UTC).
Cleanup Imminent (August 14, 2006)
[edit]Okay, I just got through with a round of cleanup. But more may be required. It appears that someone beat me to adding the cleanup tag, so I don't have to worry about doing so. I may also be adding the {expert} tag if it is neccesary. Wslupecki 01:44, 15 August 2006 (UTC).
Major Cleanup Completed (August 15, 2006)
[edit]I conducted a spellcheck (using MS Word) and performed other cleanup operations. Including, the removal of the "Jen Holloway" website link. I recently read the guidelines regarding vanity pages and quickly removed the link to prevent the article from being banished for having vanity references. I have also removed the cleanup tags upon further verification. Wslupecki 22:30, 15 August 2006 (UTC).
Major Revision Needed to save article
[edit]Like WTVT's article, this article is now reading like an ad. Though I never meant for this article to wind up this way, info changes from time to time and so forth. I will need expert help on this and the WTVT articles if they are to be saved. Wslupecki 18:15, 20 January 2007 (UTC).
What happened to the "Former Personalities" section?
[edit]I noticed on my last view of this article, that the Former Personalities section has been deleted. why is this the case? Wslupecki 17:03, 3 July 2007 (UTC).
I just noticed that, too. I think some idiot came and deleted it. I'll work on getting it back up.--Erik16 00:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Okay, just got it back up. Thank God for answers.com! I also cleaned up a random personality that was floating around under the sports personalities.--Erik16 00:57, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the help. I hate when people vandalize pages like that. 71.99.214.133 13:13, 14 July 2007 (UTC).
Vandalism Issues
[edit]I recently noticed several cleanups done due to nonsense vandalism of this article. Please address any issues concerning vandalism of this article here. Wslupecki (talk) 16:47, 3 September 2008 (UTC).
Newscasts, slogans & personalties
[edit]I am removing the newscasts, slogans & personalities sections due to WP:UNSOURCED, WP:LISTPEOPLE & WP:NOTTVGUIDE. The personalities need to meet WP:LISTPEOPLE, and cannot be sourced with their biography from the station's website as that is a primary source. Also, for the slogans and newscasts, do not use YouTube as a references... it is not a reliable] source. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:10, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Bay News 9 Tampa → ? – Please place your rationale for the proposed move here. SwarmZone (talk) 04:02, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Speedy oppose, no target or rationale given. LaundryPizza03 (talk) 20:59, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- I would have opposed for the reasons given by LaundryPizza03, but as there is no other "Bay News 9" I support and suggest moving to Bay News 9. jamacfarlane (talk) 01:01, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Support move to "Bay News 9", as there's no other Bay News 9, and the version without "Tampa" is the most common name for the subject. Paintspot Infez (talk) 00:48, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Bay News 9 → Spectrum Bay News 9 – The page Spectrum Bay News 9 should not be a redirect to here. This article should be named Spectrum Bay News 9, as it is the official current name of the network. Jkrosado (talk) 22:57, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Jkrosado:, I don't think so. The network is apparently part of Spectrum News, but still known as Bay News 9, judging by the website. I don't see "Spectrum Bay News 9" anywhere. Lennart97 (talk) 10:23, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. The official name is almost irrelevant according to WP:AT, and from the above it seems doubtful that even primary sources are using it, let alone secondary ones. Andrewa (talk) 19:03, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
