Trinity House

[edit]

The main reference cited in the House System section (Webb, 1978) does not explicitly identify the church referred to and it is hard to find an obvious candidate. It seems unlikely that Trinity House is linked to Holy Trinity, Sloane Street, as has been suggested, since that church is across the Thames and a considerable distance from the location of the school. There does not appear to have been a Holy Trinity Church in Battersea; there are nearby churches of that name in Clapham, Upper Tooting, and Wandsworth.
