Contested move request
[edit]The following request to move a page has been added to Wikipedia:Requested moves as an uncontroversial move, but this has been contested by one or more people. - Barry Island Railway → Vale of Glamorgan Railway — correct name —81.104.175.145 18:10, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- Although the (official?) website is at http://www.valeofglamorganrailway.co.uk/, even that site refers to the railway as the Barry Island Railway. --Stemonitis 18:54, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Barry Tourist Railway. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100801171549/http://www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk:80/enjoying/visit_the_vale/places_to_go/boats,_trains__trips/barry_tourist_railway.aspx to http://www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/enjoying/visit_the_vale/places_to_go/boats,_trains__trips/barry_tourist_railway.aspx
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Update
[edit]It looks like the article is very out of date. There are a couple of little mentions of the project having foundered but mostly it reads like it's still current. Does anyone please have the knowledge/sources to make the article make sense? Unless it's just a brief pause and the project's expected to be back soon, I'd say the current state of the article is close to useless. DBaK (talk) 11:01, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
