Barry Allen (DC Extended Universe)The Flash (DC Extended Universe) or Flash (DC Extended Universe) – As reflected in the reliable sources used in the article (and the majority outside of the article), The Flash is the character's WP:COMMONNAME. Also see Talk:Superman (DC Extended Universe) for an identical situation in which the character's superhero name was made the article name. ♡RAFAEL♡(talk) 22:18, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. He's actually not even referred to once as "The Flash" in the DCEU. Gonnym (talk) 07:57, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per Gonnym. -- Netoholic @ 08:15, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Casting Controversy Section

[edit]

Hi all, added a section on Miller's recent controversies as it seems to come hand-in-hand with the new solo film out next year. Often people call for them to be recast so felt it needed to be addressed in the reception section. Bottomlivefan95 (talk) 13:49, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"First Jewish superhero in film"

[edit]

This may be nothing, but the "characterization" section cites a single source for Allen to be the first Jewish superhero on film (while also citing Ian Mckellen's Magneto as a Jewish supervillain in 20th Century Fox's X-Men film franchise). However, given the X-Men character of Kitty Pryde has long been portrayed as Jewish in the comics, and the character appeared all the way back in 2006 in X-Men: The Last Stand, as portrayed by Elliot Page, wouldn't that make Pryde the first Jewish superhero on film? This may not be accurate if nothing in the film clearly denotes Pryde as Jewish, but at the same time there's only one source for the claim that Allen is the first, and that source may have gotten it wrong perhaps, or wasn't aware of Pryde's appearance in the X-Men films?

If this is nothing, ignore me. Just thought there might be a point of clarification to be made here. 203.114.152.250 (talk) 10:22, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
