It seems that the only thesis the article discusses is a master's thesis. Even though she got a prestigious scholarship, her PhD thesis is not mentioned.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:08, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done I wikilinked. None of the sources mentions School of the Arts and Architecture, they mostly say UCLA only, so I leave it like that. Sources also do not mention any of Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts or New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences or College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:08, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done Wikilinked. No specific parks were named in sources, although I could speculate, but still, sources do not mention specific parks. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:12, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What else do we know about her father (name, ethnicity, etc.). Do we have any information on her mother or siblings? Can she be connected to any blue link relatives?-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:40, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The only relative I could find, Monica Blackmun Visonà, her daughter, would also be red-linked. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:16, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I fear you are overusing redlinks. Redlinks are for subjects where we could reasonably expect an article soon. Just add her in regular text and reconsider all redlinks in this regard.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:35, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Four redlinks in an article isn't considered overuse... I have not added her, I was just saying if I should add her, it would be redlinked. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:38, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you name any public schools, or school districts or municipalities that she taught in before her MA.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:54, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apart from San Diego Mesa College, I could not find any other. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:36, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We need a lot more wikification (linking). Places (towns/cities, countries, deserts, Maravi, Malawi), institutions (University of Malawi)-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:54, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done I worked on this, while wikilinks are necessary, we also don't want to use too many, especially because this is not a very long article. --Vanderwaalforces (talk) 15:56, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now I see subsequent paragraph. Just please attempt to wikify subjects where the reader might get further information on encyclopedic terms.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:02, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Make sure that the WP:LEAD summarizes the article. It should include that she was formally trained at US schools (maybe name them), that she taught, and more.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:33, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait. I think I see that these are "African"...."art curators" not "African art"..."curators". Maybe remove the category entirely and just leave American.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 16:27, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, this was what I thought initially when I was creating the article, I thought I was wrong. So, no action here. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 16:29, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry. One last thing. UCLA really should be in the opening paragraph since she got 2 degrees there. So you might as well work in ASU.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:35, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Probably a bit more extensive an educational addition than is really necessary, but you can feel free to cut it down and back to 2 paragraphs if you like. Well done. Thanks for putting up with me.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 18:44, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
