Highway 90 in Bankhead
[edit]A few years ago, I noticed that Highway 90 was no longer signed in the tunnel or on Government Street in downtown Mobile. So I followed the official routing, per the highway signs, and discovered that Highway 90 crosses the Cochrane-Africatown USA Bridge. I am making these corrections, even though I remain baffled as to why the Alabama highway department would lengthen the route from its historical, direct route through downtown.
