[edit]The sentence "virally anti-Semitic propaganda film Jud Süss" isn't right. Shouldn't it be "virulently anti-Semitic propaganda film Jud Süss?" I'll make the changeunless someone objects. It is evident that this page was run through a translation service - try again. 82.83.122.53 16:20, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Derblaueengel.jpg
[edit]The image Image:Derblaueengel.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Merge with UFA
[edit]Since it was merged with Universum Film AG in 1921, probably these two articles should be combined. Twang (talk) 20:00, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think so, because the subject of this article is the production site, in which UFA has since 1945 no stake anymore. 2003:45:4543:E731:2C40:4925:F818:372B (talk) 23:50, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Fair use in Metropolis (film)
[edit]Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- It's a low resolution copy of a Film Poster / VHS or DVD Cover.
- It doesn't limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the film in any way, in fact, it may encourage sales.
- Because of the low resolution, copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the artwork/image.
- The image is itself a subject of discussion in the article or used in the infobox thereof.
- The image is significant because it was used to promoted a notable film.

List of films made at Babelsberg
[edit]I removed The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari from the list of films, since it was made in Weissensee at the Lixie studios (formerly owned by Continental-Kunstfilm). Also rewrote the Metropolis pic caption - Homunculus (1916) directed by Otto Rippert with a script by Lang, predates Metropolis by several years, as does Aelita (1924). >MinorProphet (talk) 00:28, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
