New Category British Motorcycles
[edit]As part of the Motorcycling WikiProject I am working though all the missing articles and stubs for British Bikes. To make things easier to sort out I have created a category for British motorcycles. Please will you add to any British motorcycle pages you find or create. I've also linked it to the Commons British Motorcycles so you could help with matching pics to articles or adding the missing images to the Commons - take your camera next time you go to a rally! Thanks Tony (talk) 08:15, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Not so. Please see WP:Categorization for the actual guidelines for how to categorize articles like this one. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 04:40, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
Proposed merger
[edit]I think it might be a good idea to merge all the articles on the BSA unit construction parallel-twins. This would mean merging BSA A65 Rocket with BSA A65 Star and BSA Royal Star and BSA Lightning Rocket. Any views? Arrivisto (talk) 22:57, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yes. Thoroughly good idea. 109.145.108.66 (talk) 04:02, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- I'd first create an umbrella article that covered the series on one page, and make that as good as it can be. Then go back and decide if the individual articles on the separate bikes still have a reason to exist, and if not, redirect to the main article. But if @Arrivisto: would rather merge them all now, then sure, why not? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 04:43, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- I am content with @Dennis Bratland:'s "umbrella" suggestion. Arrivisto (talk) 10:07, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

BSA Royal Star → BSA A50 Royal Star – To disambiguate from the 650cc version A65 Royal Star John B123 (talk) 18:00, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- Was the BSA A65 Star ever known as BSA A65 Royal Star? Dekimasuよ! 16:18, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- The model was known as the A65 Star in the UK (or sometimes the A65 Star Twin to distinguish it from the 250cc C15 Star) and the A65 Royal Star in the US --John B123 (talk) 18:25, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- In that case, support. Dekimasuよ! 02:29, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
