Splitting proposal
[edit]I propose that the section History be split into a separate page called Aurora Burlington Route Depot. The former Burlington Route depot in Aurora is notable enough for its own article, and although the content of this current section is not detailed, more relevant information and content can be added to a separate article. The history of the Aurora Transportation Center itself can also be expanded upon in this article. Derpytoucan (talk) 02:23, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- I would prefer Aurora station (Burlington Route) over your wording, but otherwise, support it. Mitch32(sail away with me to another world.) 01:41, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support, since the CBQ depot was on a different site from the Aurora Transportation Center, and it served some notable trains (including three Amtrak trains before 1983) that the current station doesn't. - SleepTrain456 (talk) 17:24, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Support, the target should be Aurora station (Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad), which already redirects here. Mackensen (talk) 11:59, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
