There're also numbers of Assumption Colleges in Thailand, in which all of them are primary/secondary school runs by Brothers of St. Gabriel group, a french catholic missionary who entered Thailand almost a hundred years ago.

For example:

Other academic institutes also run by Brothers of St. Gabriel are

There's also an Assumption College in San Lorenzo in the Philippines, unrelated to the one in Worcester (http://www.assumption.edu.ph/) -- at least, not directly related. The Filipino instute was founded by the Religions of the Assumption, sisters to the Augustinians of the Assumption. I don't know of any direct links between the Worcester and San Lorenzo instutions, but I'll look into it.
Links 1 and 3 appear to be broken. Do those instutuions have a new URL? Link 2 works, but is in a language I do not recognize. Is there an English translation? — EagleOne\Talk 17:56, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)
The language is of course Thai, sadly there seems to be no english version. I have now made an article Assumption College (disambiguation) to list the other ones, and added a line in the beginning of the article. Maybe this article should be moved into something like Assumption Collegue, Massachusetts, and the disambiguation moved into this place instead. andy 16:56, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
There are significant tracts of the text written from Assumption's point of view, use of words such as "our". --Brianmc 18:10, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Updates / Cleaning up

I'm going to be working on this page in the coming days, cleaning up, correcting information, and getting it more in tune with the other College/University pages on Wikipedia. I added the Infobox today but I have not added the references yet. Almost all of the references are from Assumption College's latest viewbook and historical references are from Kenneth J. Moynihans "Assumption College - A Centennial History," published in 2004. References will be added shortly to the page. MBM 20:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

I added an image of the campus from the entry point MBM 19:54, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

I added Senator Mike Gravel to the Noteables, as he graduated from Assumption Prep which was under the ospices of the Assumptionists in Worcester. I added Assumption Prep in parenthensees only because he went onto attend, I believe, American International. MBM 18:04, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Assumption College. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

– There are loads of unrelated schools and colleges with this name, it hardly seems that this one is distinct enough to be considered the WP:primary topic. Quite a few incoming links are erroneous; having the plain name as a dab page will help identify these errors. Not sure what the exact title formatting should be (comma or parentheses, city or state, etc.), so hoping for further input on the target. Paul_012 (talk) 01:29, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
