- The ALT0 hook is inaccurate, though: I believe the association was founded by 18 cardiologists, not 17 – see https://abcardio.org/history/ – and there are 18 names in the article. The source that is used says 17 cardiologists joined Richard Allen Williams, so again 18 in total. In any case, I think ALT1 is more interesting.
- The article has some issues itself. Per both the sources above, Williams was the primary founder of the association – as well as its president for its first ten years – but the article doesn't really make that clear. Is the legal status of the association really a 'Charity'? That doesn't seem correct to me, is there a source for that? There are two instances of 'organisation' that should be 'organization' per WP:ENGVAR. There are a couple of stray '[' marks in the list founders. Wasted Time R (talk) 12:44, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Wasted Time R: it looks like the nominator hasn't edited on Wikipedia since posting this nomination on June 29. Can the article be salvaged, or should the nomination be closed as unsuccessful? Yoninah (talk) 19:12, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Yes, I had noticed this too. I have now made changes to the article to address all the concerns I raised, so as far as I am concerned the article can proceed to DYK. Can I give it the checkmark, or does another reviewer need to come along and do that? Thanks ... Wasted Time R (talk) 00:14, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Wasted Time R: it doesn't look like you did so much that would merit a co-creation credit, so I think it's fine for you to finish the review. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 09:08, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- This is now good to go. As stated above, I think ALT1 is more interesting than ALT0. Wasted Time R (talk) 10:22, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
