Titles
[edit]The claim to add citation for confirmation of using title "Ashes to Ashes – Various 3 (Original Soundtrack)" as one of variations is inaccurate, because there are External links that reflect this information precisely. So, there are different names for this product in Internet. The most useful are specified in an article. --Antara-2009 (talk) 16:46, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Track listing
[edit]JD554, what are You doing?? Why are you corrected this list last time (not inkluded links)? Your version is simply not correct. Let's try to discuss this problem firstly, if you against something in this article. Thank You. Antara-2009 (talk) 21:07, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- If you look at the track listing on Sony's official website for this album[1] you will see that tracks 2, 8, 13 and 19 are by Ed Butt, he also doesn't have a wikipedia article so should be linked. It also doesn't list an artist for tracks 1, 7, 12 and 20. Please read MOS:PUNC as to how apostrophes should be formatted, not how you formatted them for tracks 3 and 18. Track 18 doesn't have an article and shouldn't be wikilined. Echo & the Bunnymen should be formatted with a lower case 't' for 'the', see WP:MUSTARD#Titles (bands) (I've already explained this one to you before). Red links should be avoided unless you are going to create articles for them. --JD554 (talk) 07:06, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- JD554, if You look at history of changes for this page, you will see that it's not me write so "Echo & The Bunnymen" firstly. That's first. Secondly, this rulles WP:MUSTARD#Titles (bands) said about Titles of articles, special for this it is redirects and it mean that inside of article, especially other article you could name this group with great "T".
Thirdly, to correct name "Edmund Butt" → "Ed Butt" is stupid, it is absurd for this case. You are not journalist and this is not an article where you must quote the page of official site. As you see, this site links firstly, priority on Amazon and If you look on your link that I tried to delete on Amazon, there is a correct list of singles this album and it can be originally priority as official site. By the way, may be it isn't official site. Thank you for note my really mistakes as apostrophes. I now correct it. And I ask you again, if you are against something in this article, write firstly here please. Let's discuss it. Thank You again. Antara-2009 (talk) 08:40, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- JD554, specially for you, about Edmund Butt[2]. Ed - Alternate name. It's as Cristopher → Chris, etc. Let's rename articles "Montserrat Lombard", "Sharon Granger",etc. to "Montse Lombard" (as she called only by family and friends), "Shaz Granger" as you talk.... I hope, You understand what I mean. More, I see You were past a time for tracks from Amazon, it's true solution. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Antara-2009 (talk • contribs) 09:01, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ed Butt is the name from the official website, Echo & the Bunnymen is per the manual of style, a leading zero on the track times is pointless, the track is listed as "The Love Cats", and the band is listed as "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" (there is no FGTH). Please stop your disruptive editing. --JD554 (talk) 09:06, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ed Butt hasn't any official site. Ok. Why you past the time of tracks? It's not indicated on official site. Is it disruptive editing? Antara-2009 (talk) 09:19, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Of course it isn't disruptive editing, it is the only source for track times. When there is more than one source, it is better to use the official as long as formatting is per Wikipedia's manual of style. --JD554 (talk) 09:21, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- If you are disagree with me about Ed Butt and that Dialogues by Alex Drake and Philip Glenister (frtom Amzon). It is disruptive editing, in your opinion - information from Amazon. I think this information is disruptyive too. I repeat Your words: If you look at the track listing on Sony's official website for this album[3] you will see that tracks not observed time Antara-2009 (talk) 09:30, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

←Track times are a fact, they exist, the only current source for them is Amazon. The track listing and who was the artist is also a fact, there are differing sources for what they should be on a number of the tracks: Amazon or the release's official website. Seeing as the sources differ, it is better to use the official one. --JD554 (talk) 09:36, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- What you saying is impossible, it's stupid. You contradict yourself. If we can trust Amazon, we must write as it written in Amazon if it's not contradict wikipedia and official site, ok you are still doing like me - disruptive editions. Let's sort out it.
Look at Ashes to Ashes – Series 2 (soundtrack album) and at Official Site [4] let's check the second line: 2. "Alex Drake Keeley Hawes" it's Official Resource data (!) for Ashes to Ashes – Series 3 (soundtrack album), it's first line: "Dialogue: Alex Drake" it ok..on Amazon it's too "Dialogue: Alex Drake" isn't it stupid that in Ashes to Ashes – Series 2 (soundtrack album) track "Dialogue: Alex Drake" songs Keeley Hawes, but in Ashes to Ashes – Series 3 (soundtrack album) the same track "Dialogue: Alex Drake" songs unknown author? If you don't really know this soundtrack albums, give me write this article correctly, you behave objectively, and if one admin forgot or don't want to write artist name in one line it's not mean that we don't know the name of this artist. I repeat: this is not an article where you must quote the page of official site. That's good that you correct my mistakes and tell me about it, but sources can be ONLY authentic and inauthentic. And if you agree with me about reliability of Amazon Source, you mustn't to delete an information that I write from this Source. In this case, your such changes should be treated as vandalism. I only wish that the article will be constructive. If you disagree with me, give me a link where we can to invite one of experts/administrators and to resolve this issue with help of admins. Antara-2009 (talk) 10:46, 14 April 2010 (UTC) About Edmund Butt: in all official sites like Yahoo! Music, IMDb.com, Incorporated, Official Edmund Butt Site You will see that Edmund Butt name is sole and primary. Ed Butt name uses as alternate like Cristopher → Chris, Montserrat → Montse, Sharon → Shaz, etc. and no reduction is unacceptable, especially in Wikipedia. It mean that name Ed Butt use and correct from Edmund Butt to Ed Butt not once is vandalism. Antara-2009 (talk) 11:43, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've now got the physical album here as I type, Edmund Butt is correct. I've removed the leading zero from the track times per WP:ALBUMS#Track listing and the template instructions at {{Track listing}}. I've also added quote marks the "dialogue" tracks and changed the contributing artist to "Dialogue" for them, this is how it is on the physical album. I've also changed the case of the word "The" in the song "Video Killed the Radio Star", this is per WP:MUSTARD#Capitalization. Please let that be the end of it. --JD554 (talk) 12:20, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, but I think it will be correctly to leave in "Dialoges" in title - Dialogue:...; in Artist name - names of characters as at Amazon.
- P.S. I changed it.
Explanation: 1) First line of track list: all 0:15 sec. only Keeley Hawes voice 2) Seventh line of track list: both voices: Keeley Hawes and Philip Glenister 3) Twelve line of track list: all 0:24 sec. only Keeley Hawes voice 4) Twentieth line of track list: both voices: Keeley Hawes and Philip Glenister Antara-2009 (talk) 12:33, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- The track titles on the actual album itself, released by Sony Music catalogue number 8697675222, which I have right here in front of me has the first track's title as "'Alex Drake'", the seventh track as "'Wake Up'", the twelfth track as "'All in My Head'" (note there is no question mark) and the twentieth track as "'I'm in a Mess'". In each case where the artist name is for other tracks, it's says "Dialogue". The track title for track number twenty-one is also listed as "The Lovecats", which is also correct per the article here. --JD554 (talk) 12:39, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, I know how they write these titles, I have myself last two albums really, but here, in our article, in accordance with the selected form, that will be more correctly, more objectively. For wikipedia it's ideal variant. Moreover, it is not at odds with authentic source. Information here must be objectively, not copyright. We saw today an examples of stupid copyright Antara-2009 (talk) 12:48, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I'm struggling to understand what you're trying to say. Is English your first language? --JD554 (talk) 12:53, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Can you explain why you delete wiki? And is it really that there is no-question title in one of lines really? At Amazon there is question in title and if download this track, there is question in title.

P.S. no, Russian is my first language. What you don't understand ? Antara-2009 (talk) 12:58, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I don't understand your previous comment at all, it doesn't make any sense in English I'm afraid. No, there isn't a question mark in the title. There are degrees for reliable sources, and the actual album is a better reliable source than Amazon. --JD554 (talk) 13:04, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
JD554, can I write You by Skype/ICQ? There are some personal questions for you. So, I think this article is finished. Write on my talk page please. Antara-2009 (talk) 13:12, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- No you can't Skype or ICQ me as I don't have accounts for either of them. If necessary, I can be e-mailed from my userpage: select the "E-mail this user" option in the toobox on the left hand side of the screen. --JD554 (talk) 13:16, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Can You explain why are you doing these incorrect editings in this article? I explain you where you could find the right answer on this problem: "Added Question Mark in the Title of Track 12. There can't be Question Mark in Title of any Files, but in Properties of File → Tab 'Details' There is the Question Mark in the Title of this one." Now I have this CD too, and, by the way, at Amazon there is question-marked title of this track. Antara-2009 (talk) 21:27, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- It's quite simple, I have the physical release and there is no question mark on the cover. The file name is irrelevant and so is how Amazon show it. The best source is the album itself. --JD554 (talk) 09:34, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- I know, but the cover isn't copyright, and compilate. Each song in the album is a part of compilation and (you can see it in file properties) and here you can see really song title. I thnk we finish on it. --Antara-2009 (talk) 22:30, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- Why on earth do you think the Amazon is a more reliable source than the album itself? This is bizarre. I'm not wasting my time here anymore, do what the fuck you like with these album articles. --JD554 (talk) 11:14, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
