criticism
[edit]Although Sommerfeld eventually became a friend and collaborator with Albert Einstein, he was also "among the first to suggest there was something Jewish about Einstein's theoretical approach, a theme later picked up by Anti-Semites. (He claimed that Einstein's approach) lacked due respect for the notion of order and absolutes, and it did not seem solidly grounded." (citation: Einstein by Walter Isaacson, pp.142).
- I am considering adding this section to this article. I am open to comments from other editors.--Markisgreen 19:42, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Clarifications
[edit]In the first paragraph of the "Career" section, the reference to the month of October is not clear as to which year is being discussed. If you then read the second paragraph of that section, the time-line seems to be set to 1894 which means the previous paragraph would have been 1893 or earlier. I think that adding 1893 into the first paragraph would add some clarity, if that is the correct year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjpollard (talk • contribs) 18:56, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

Dividing citations to two groups
[edit]Hello,
The section "Reference" is full of large citations.[1] I suggest we move them to the subsection "Notes," like this:[a]
Citations
[edit]Notes
References
[edit]- ^ Surname, Name (1900). Title. Town: Publisher. pp. 5–11.
However, when copying the text from the citation to "efn" template, all styling (links included) are lost. Does anyone know how to preserve text styling and links?
Thank you, Marino 19:54, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
