musical genres
[edit]His singing style was influenced by Steve Perry (Journey), John Farnham (Little River Band), Freddie Mercury (Queen), Sting (The Police), Survivor, Heart, The Beatles, Van Halen, Aerosmith, U2, Warrant, Deep Purple, and other bands along these genres.[2]
Uhm - what genres is that? All from heavy rock to adult contemporary to country??? Areback (talk) 22:40, 4 August 2008 (UTC).
pineda's former bands
[edit]Maybe this article would be better if the information about pineda's former bands were removed, and other wiki entries were written on his former bands instead? Poisonjin (talk) 06:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Wrong info under Revelation Tour section?
[edit]The last portion of the Wikipedia entry states: "The Revelation Tour was the eighth grossing concert of 2008, bringing in over $745,000. [20] Pineda sang in more than 60 concerts in the 2008 Journey World Tour."
According to Billboard Magazine, Journey ranked 17th with 44.8 Million. One source can be found here: [1] .
Perhaps it was $745,000 per show.

Filipino American
[edit]Is there any information out there of the subject of this article being a Filipino American? An IP user attempted to add the subject to List of Filipino Americans. I have removed him, as nothing in this article states that he resides in the United States, or holds American nationality or citizenship. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 19:35, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Biographical Information
[edit]"Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous."
If a citation or citations are not provided for the paragraph about Pineda's supposed time on the streets, I will remove the section entirely. It's contentious at the very least, highly editorialized and without source, which puts its accuracy greatly in question. I inserted the call for a citation a while back and not only has no citation been given, but more contentious material has been added, again, with no documentation of source. "Information" such as that needs to be sourced or removed.Brakoholic (talk) 14:55, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Since 2011?
[edit]What has happened to him since 2011? I know that he has toured with Journey and sang at least once with the band Chicago(in Manila). Anything noteworthy with those performances? How is his voice doing? Anything else? If so, please mention it in the article. Thanks 2602:306:CD9B:E9A0:6C96:FD02:5448:5708 (talk) 16:30, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
