I have removed the proposed-deletion template. It claimed that the article was unreferenced; this is not true. There are three references present. Technically, they are not all "self published" references, because some of them were published by third parties working for the NIH. The NIH is generally recognized as a reliable academic source. Therefore, this article isn't a candidate for that particular proposed-deletion process. Furthermore, the subject of the article is notable, with a substantial curriculum vitae. This suggests that the article can be substantially improved with a little effort. If anyone still insists that this article should be deleted, please use the WP:AFD process. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 03:20, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
