@PerspicazHistorian: I cannot access some of the sources you just added. Can you please provide quotes from the relevant page that support the content you are using them for? I am concerned that you are not able to discern the difference between what a source says and what you are writing.

For example, you cited Dhere 2011, Rise of a Folk God, as a source for the sentence Appa [...] was a honorific title conferred to the Lingayat and Maratha Rulers of Karnataka and Maharashtra region of India". The source appears to be of high quality. However, what the source says is the following: "...in Marathi, the suffix -ba indicates seniority, honorability, or fatherhood...in Andhra and Karnataka, -appa and -anna are honorific suffixes that resemble the Marathi -ba".

This is a good example of source misuse. There is a wide gap between an honorific suffix and an administrative title, which your next sentence refers to. -Appa may be a title - I'm not saying it isn't - but this source doesn't use it in the way you do. Furthermore, the source says nothing about Lingayats or Marathas. If you want to write about a subject like this one, you need to be diligent in not misrepresenting the source, and you need to read the best sources and summarize what they say, not simply write what you believe and search the whole sentence in google. @Vanamonde93: Thanks for pointing that out, Actually Its use for local maratha and lingayat rulers is true but I am yet to find a better source. 3)Appa for maratha, I can't find better citations as its too common in marathi culture to honor rulers/local headmans as appa. But still I found these- [6][7]. In case of marathas, Mudhoji II of Nagpur was called "Appa sahib" where appa means- father and sahib means -sir. But still this lacks a proper source despite being too common for someone who knows marathi language. I will try to find a better source. PH, please try to understand what I am telling you. If you write that "Appa was an administrative title among Lingayats", you need a source saying that exactly. You can't provide a source that gives an example. This source, for instance, says that villagers in one specific village addressed their headman with the honorific suffix "Appa".
