Writing style

Very unenclopaedic. Needs editing. AshLin (talk) 09:20, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Anthocharis cardamines female MichaD.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on January 3, 2015. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2015-01-03. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:30, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Larges Changes

[edit]

Hello, I am a behavioral ecology student at Washington University in St. Louis. I will be adding significantly to this page for the next few weeks. So far, I have removed a majority of the uncited information and added in new sections relevant to A. Cardamines. I will continue to flesh out these new sections. Review of Anthocharis cardamines

[edit]

Hello.

Overall, the content of the article was very clear and easy to follow. I first expanded the lead section by adding relevant/important information about the species. I also added some hyperlinks(wiki-links) to some of the words in the article so that it's easy to follow for readers who do not have a background in biology. Additionally, I made small edits on the general structure of your article: fixed information on Taxobox and corrected capitalization on each section.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Sungjaepark (talk) 07:45, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the lead section can be expanded. I included more citations in the "Egg guarding" section, and majorly changed the subspecies section. There was not much information linked, so I only left the subspecies that I could find research articles on.

Hi, overall your article provides a good understanding of what makes this butterfly unique. I went through and italicized all the scientific names and rewrote a couple sentences for the sake of flow. I'd like to see some more info on parental care or social behavior, especially given that parents occupy different habitats. liu.emily (talk) 2:56, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
