As a side note it strikes me as problem is that the article is a wastebasket, tbh, and the contributor(s) seem to have questionable grasp of basic terminology ("Babylonia, Sumer and Akkad" is a pretty random selection of terms referring to parts of Mesopotamia in different time periods, and that's right in the lead; or "Ugaritic and West Semitic" - Ugaritic was a West Semitic language last I've checked, but I'm morbidly curious how some sort of singular "West Semitic cosmology" would even function seeing as ex. Phoenicians in first mil BCE Sidon and Tyre had little, if any, in common with ex. Amorites c. 1800 BCE culturally beyond speaking relatively closely related languages...). Also while I can maybe sort of justify treating the entire "cuneiform world" as one unit, there is very little reason for lumping Egypt together with Mesopotamia...
