information about Claude Askew, the husband of Alice Askew. Should a new page be created for Claude Askew with similar information? Collywolly (talk) 04:32, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Collywolly, I just came across this page for Alice Askew, who is my grandmother. And, as I have been doing considerable research on both her and her husband, Claude, I was able to add a fair amount of information to that which was there before.

I see that you were wondering if a separate page should also be added for Claude Askew. Actually, as their main claim to fame is as joint authors, I think they should be put together on the same page that could well be re-titled: "Alice & Claude Askew" - as most of their literary and journalistic output was signed. What do you think? Candelar (talk) 03:19, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It could well be re-titled. Can one do that? Otherwise there could just be a redirect from a new page titled "Alice and Claude Askew" to "Alice Askew." You have done a great job on this page. I only created it recently when I was after some information on the Askews and found that there was none at Wikipedia. Regards Collywolly (talk) 05:49, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Candelar. I can see that one can move a page. There are instructions at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Help:How_to_move_a_page. I'll leave it to you to do that and to decide whether to use an ampersand (&) or the word "and" in the title. If the user enters "Alice Askew" or "Claude Askew" he/she will be redirected to the page with the new name. Regards Collywolly (talk) 06:07, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Collywolly. Many thanks for your messages - and especially your very kind words. Have done as you suggested - 'moved' it into their joint name. And now there is a picture of Claude as well. I hope to add a bit more later - probably after the Christmas holidays. But I hope you approve of it as it is now. Regards Candelar (talk) 16:31, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
