Stub implies minimal place-holder

[edit]

I've taken the initiative to change this from Stub to Start. The page has a non-trivial contribution history, and generally provides well-rounded coverage of the topic. Extensive reworking could be done (current structure has already encouraged some redundancy), and a little more information could be added, but for a general-interest encyclopedia, this article length is appropriate for a game of this low importance. Now, if this was a gaming encyclopedia. that might be different. Actually, I see "stub" dated back to the true creation date of this talk page.--'SportWagon (talk) 14:54, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References for driver characteristics/statistics

[edit]

Driver statistics are: heart, vision, intimidation, handling, acceleration, recovery, focus, anticipation, and endurance.

Actually your already given http://www.milestone.it/eng/SCAR/scar.html is better, and gives the same list. Not sure where you got your list of statistics from? Of course, the meanings of the names is not obvious, and needs brief, non-plagiaristic explanation.--SportWagon (talk) 15:19, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, if we go into this much detail, the game actually has the above nine point categories which in turn affect other things including (from memory) car condition, driver condition, and tiger effect value. Clothing changes also affect those. Other indirect statistics (from memory) are driver recovery rate, and there's also an ability of the car to resist damage (absorb impacts).--SportWagon (talk) 15:26, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mysterious convert template

[edit]

https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Template:Convert I add this direct link to help editors of the page, since the template is used in this page. I'm not suggesting anyone try to change it.  :) But the docs should help readers understand my recent changes. -- SportWagon (talk) 22:46, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
