Youngest player to score an NHL goal post-expansion.

[edit]

Someone edited Barkov's page and made the claim that he is the youngest player in NHL history to score a goal. However, technically this is not true. As a result of World War II, players younger than 18 could play in the NHL, and I believe Bep Guidolin might be the youngest player to record an NHL goal (though I haven't done extensive research, there might be someone even younger). It is true that Barkov is the youngest player post 1967 Expansion to score, and I intend to edit this article so it is accurate. Ho-ju-96 (talk) 12:50, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

– This article is the primary subject people look for when they search "Aleksander Barkov". It is true that Barkov's father, "Alexander Barkov" has a similar name, but it is spelled with an "x" rather than a "ks". There is also a gymnast of the same name that does not even have an article. I believe that Barkov with a "ks" is distinguished enough from others to warrant this change. Moka Mo (talk) 21:48, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
