Some content used in Protests over responses to the COVID-19 pandemic
[edit]Some content from this article was added on February 22, 2021 to the article Protests over responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.Oceanflynn (talk) 21:15, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
Should there be a "Protests" section?
[edit]The section Alberta Legislature Building § Protests is basically a WP:COATRACK in my opinion. It has some brief mentions of protests from years ago that turned out to have no lasting notability, plus a very large paragraph about a recent event. Although very well sourced, it has problems with WP:RECENTISM and WP:NOTNEWS - the protest's lasting notability remains to be seen. I'd like to delete the section altogether, perhaps moving the 2021 paragraph to a COVID-related article. The protest wasn't really about the building and its grounds, that's just where it happened. If someone wants to know about the Ledge, an overly detailed paragraph about one Saturday in 2021 is not going to help them much. Indefatigable (talk) 05:24, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
