article name

[edit]

We have a conflict the the name of this article and the article about the commune and city of Estacion Central. According to the standard for naming settlements in Chile, they are named "Community, Chile", however in the case of the community of Estacion Central that is the name of this article.

This is currently the only exception for all communities in Chile. Does anyone have any ideas about how to resolve this conflict? --JAXHERE | Talk 15:02, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since no one has proposed any other solution, I believe the form used in England may be the most useful and logical for this case. The station's article will thus be named "Estación Central railway station" and it's previous name thus freed up for use in the name of the community's article. --JAXHERE | Talk 14:12, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alameda

[edit]

The station is labelled 'Alameda' by the trains swerving it, so Alameda Station is a logical name. The metro station is called Estacion Central, but that can be attributed to the quarter and not the railway station.--Oldboltonian (talk) 21:50, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
