Fair use rationale for Image:Ettifaq.gif
[edit]Image:Ettifaq.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Requested move 19 July 2023
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved. While there is some opposition to this request, primarily related to translation and whether it is the correct name in English, there is enough more support for this request that I am comfortable moving. Ettifaq FC โ Al-Ettifaq FC โ This seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME across sources online at the moment. Across Wikipedia, we are using "Al-Ettifaq" and "Al Ettifaq" already. Al Ettifaq FC is also an appropriate move as there doesn't seem to be a standard for whether we should include a hyphen. Paul Vaurie (talk) 17:13, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support The club's name on the SAFF website is Al-Ettifaq (https://www.saff.com.sa/team.php?id=71). Tshak13 23 July 2023
- Support adding the Al- in the title, i.e. include the dash. They call it that on their own club website when translate it to English. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 16:08, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Should be Al-Ettifaq as per their own site. Wanderin' Wolf (talk) 19:46, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. The club's name in English, per their logo and official website, is Ettifaq Club, and because of that I don't think it's necessary to move the title to something else, even if that's how the media call it, since the current name should be the most suitable one. Instead, maybe we can add these alternative names to the article itself. Ben5218 (talk) 22:56, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

- Support as above. GiantSnowman 18:33, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per Ben5218: the club uses Ettifaq Club on both the official website and logo, indicating it's the official name in English. Nehme1499 15:32, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
