Merge with Al-Alam news

[edit]

This article is virtually identical word-for-word with the article Al-Alam news. They obviously were cut-and-pasted from the same source. Suggest merging them. Dugwiki 21:59, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality issues

[edit]

This article is, like the TV station itself, full of propaganda against Israel, the USA and the Western Civilization as a whole. It may be possible to improve it so that it becomes more neutral. Lynvern (talk) 19:23, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article is still biased: the network is praised throughout the article, with adjectives like "speedy [coverage]". Moreover, there is no mention of the fact that this network is controlled by the Iranian government. Cerberus™ (talk) 09:47, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not you believe that it's Iranian gov controlled/strongly influenced (and I do), the controversy over that is definitely famous enough to earn a prominent place in the article, although I'm sure there will be deniers who have every right for a place in the article which reflects the prominence of their denials. Jztinfinity (talk) 18:24, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article describes the TV stations capabilities but never mentions itself as a state owned network that delivers news biased to Iran and moreover the mentioned media station is currently being used for propaganda.
