Merge

[edit]

I agree with the idea to merge this into Aequitas. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanthewebguy (talkcontribs) 22:08, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have carried out the merge. Robofish (talk) 17:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could add a "in popular culture" section. I can't remember the details, but "Aequitas" was tattooed on the hand of one of the two title characters/vigilantes (which was prominently zoomed in on and highlighted clearly during the ritual execution scenes) in both Boondock Saints and Boondock Saints 2. The other character had "Veritas" ("truth") tattooed in the same place (but I think the opposite hand), but this - the idea of "justice" - is much more tied to the movies' narratives and theme.
