"most-liked"
[edit]Just curious, what criteria is used for "most-liked" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.68.244.251 (talk) 18:25, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Whoa, wait a sec.
[edit]Isn't this guy mentioned in the Ian Dury & The Blockheads song "Reasons To Be Cheerful, Part 3"? I believe one can clearly hear an "Adi Celentano" in the lyrical rundown of things that make the narrator (of the song) happy (one could say "cheerful" here). Is that notable enough for a Wiki citation or is it just a little factoid that should be left in the annals of useless trivia? 69.153.90.109 (talk) 07:38, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Il Molleggiato
[edit]Hi, I'm italian and in my country Celentano is also known as 'Il Molleggiato'. The english for 'Il Molleggiato' should be 'the springy one'.--79.56.153.28 (talk) 21:41, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
I'm Italian too and I confirm that Il Molleggiato (The Springy One) is Celentano's most popular nickname in Italy. It refers to his typical dancing style, a sort of trademark that he's used ever since the beginning of his career in the late '50s. He reprised it from rock & roll dancing moves that were typical of the American culture in those years, thanks to Elvis Presley above all: just like Elvis', Celentano's moves are very "springy", "elastic", if anyone is interested about this there are a lot of Celentano's videos on Youtube, some even from the very beginning of his career. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.44.219.28 (talk) 16:59, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

The Mystery of the Third Planet (1982) (Mediaset version) (Gromozeka) (voice)
[edit]Who knows about Celentano's voice in old russian animation film "The Mystery of the Third Planet" (1982) (Mediaset version) (Gromozeka). I think that it's the big fake. See also http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/The_Mystery_of_the_Third_Planet#Cast_vocie . Also you are welcome to fix fakes. EXPAND
[edit]This article should be EXPANDED (it.wiki references: 174; https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adriano_Celentano). JacktheBrown (talk) 05:42, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Add more details to his early life?
[edit]i was reading the italian wikipedia page for adriano celentano and it has a lot more details about his childhood and his family. should those be added as well? If they are added, im pretty sure english sources would be needed, right? Werkwer (talk) 09:34, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Werkwer: if an Italian source is authoritative, it must be added; we put an end to this desire to add only English sources, otherwise it will be almost impossible to have good articles about famous Italian people. JacktheBrown (talk) 07:05, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
- Alright I see. Thanks for your help! Werkwer (talk) 03:37, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
