Adele shows at Manchester Arena (Manchester) all four sold out - 15,300 people each night. I know this because I work at the arena. 5.151.174.96 (talk) 18:40, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Reception

[edit]

Any reviews about the concert? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.32.76.81 (talk) 18:15, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are any members here willing to update at a frequent basis the reviews from the arenas that Adele has already played. Dublin, Manchester and Glasgow gig reviews are missing from this section. --CK (talk) 03:12, 30 April 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:587:D04:A900:BD0C:15CF:9F75:C878 (talk) [reply]

We need to have stricter definitions of what 'critical reception' means. There are too many unnecessary posts that are by no means critical reviews, like the: "the performance was described as 'mesmerising'". A critical reception is an expert, reputable source's review that has detail about the staging, lighting, audio and/or overall reception of the show. You can make a subsections for every city Adele plays in with one word adjectives describing her show. The insistent addition of the Genting Arena performance is clearly because Egghead06 wants to broadcast Adele's support for non-related, political events mentioned during the show. Perhaps he/she should look up the definition of 'critical reception' as well as look at the depth of detail of the other subsections before adding non related material to this section again. If you want to re-add the adjectives, at least remove the political element from the article.

There is no reason why at your insistence the mention of Pakistan should be removed from a review. Which guideline advises that?--Egghead06 (talk) 19:38, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In what way is Pakistan remotely relevant to Adele or a critical review of her show. You probably love Pakistan or are a humanitarian. Go spread your irrelevant views on another page, not Adele's. This is not a political page. Don't show bias by including irrelevant details.
Nice attitude. First time I have ever seen humanitarian used as an insult. If Pakistan and the massacre are not relevant to Adele, why would see choose to mention it during her concert? You say she supports political events during the show and then say it is not related to her. Are you a bit confused?--Egghead06 (talk) 07:22, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why are we listing $ price the people paid with £ ...what use is this? its just hearsay as we have no idea of what exchange rate they are useing! Pauseypaul (talk) 10:14, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Because it's Billboard, which is an American publication. But agree I'd rather see it in British sterling.  — Calvin999 10:15, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist for her shows is correct, however "I Miss You" was dropped from the setlist after the March 30 show in Birmingham, not sure why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.34.231.204 (talk) 18:44, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Glastonbury gig

[edit]

I've no idea why this keeps being removed, no editor removing it seems to offer any discussion. It is referenced so please offer some reason before removing again. Thanks.--Egghead06 (talk) 05:37, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Egghead06 The setlist is quite different from setlist of all another 2016 show (like http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-35690996 or http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/music/ct-adele-united-center-review-20160710-column.html) as well as Adele's 2017 show (at least Adele's 2016 setlist is similar with her 2017 one). The costume she wore and the stage were also different. That why it is not a part of Adele "25" Tour. We should remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.203.198.127 (talk) 05:24, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've no issue one way or the other. It's just that it was being added and deleted regularly with no explanation offered. If it was a one off gig and no part of Adele 16, then it should be deleted based on info above.--Egghead06 (talk) 06:16, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Concert Synopsis

[edit]

Is it ok to start this new sub section? I feel like those who went to the concerts and corroborate their descriptions of how her concerts occurred. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lothwe (talkcontribs) 06:05, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Aussie Dates

[edit]

It was just announced that the following concerts will be held in Australia Feb 28 2017: Perth at Domain Stadium Mar 4 2017: Brisbane at The Gabba Mar 10 2017: Sydney at ANZ Stadium Mar 13 2017: Adelaide at Adelaide Oval Mar 18 2017: Melbourne at Etihad Stadium

Couldn't update the page due to the vandalism thing so I'd appreciate if someone could add the current dates and add 5 Oceania dates to the overall tour date tally. Thenayanz (talk) 18:16, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also update final tour date to March 18 2017 since it's currently at Nov 21 (the Phoenix show) Thenayanz (talk) 18:17, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is it just me but why did it never Hit the Press that NO OFFICIAL figures for @Adele in Oceania were released? Attendance/Revenue Nothing .... were the Press numbers Faked? What are the Real Numbers? Pauseypaul (talk) 22:36, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why was the setlist for Oceania leg removed?

[edit]

I'm looking for the order of the songs and it's not here anymore. Any reason? 171.253.2.105 (talk) 13:24, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Start date of tour

[edit]

According to Adele's official site itself, the "Adele Live 2016" tour began February 12, 2016, at The Wiltern, Los Angeles, California. See https://web-beta.archive.org/web/20160223015125/http://adele.com:80/live/north-america/. Yet the article contradicts Adele's official site and claims the tour started Feb. 29 in Belfast. (See also archive of European tour dates at https://web-beta.archive.org/web/20160225223255/http://adele.com/live/europe/ ). Before starting a row and unilaterally correcting this, I'd like to ask other editors about the omission. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:37, 27 March 2017

According to Billboard, that concert is Adele's pre-Grammy show, not a part of Adele Live 2016. The article also noted that:

Adele's sold-out tour starts in a little over two weeks, and she told the audience that "the show is great," but "didn't want to give anything away." (She also noted that the set list for The Wiltern show will not be the same as what she performs on the road during the tour.)

The tour launches Feb. 29 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is scheduled to play more than 100 shows in Europe and North America through November. The North American leg of the tour starts on July 5 in St. Paul, Minn., and includes six-night stands at both Madison Square Garden in New York and Staples Center in Los Angeles.Phamthuathienvan (talk) 10:20, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adele 2017 shows gross

[edit]

Adele's australia leg was reported by pollstar as 59m in its 2017 year end report Can we include it to the total, so it'd be the 2016 gross + 59m from 117 shows http://www.nme.com/news/music/highest-grossing-tours-2017-far-2113046 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.100.242.248 (talk) 10:30, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
