His name
[edit]MLB.com and baseball reference are both listing him simply as Raul Mondesi.. so perhaps the title of this article should be changed to Raúl Mondesí (shortstop)? Or some other variation? Also the first appearance thing... will the sources actually list his world series appearance as an official "first appearance"? Spanneraol (talk) 21:13, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- I think that's a good disambiguation. I've seen a few sources incorrectly call him Jr, but his brother is the Jr.--Yankees10 21:29, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- I still see a lot of sources call him "Raul A. Mondesi", and if we have that option, I'd prefer that over the disambiguator at the end. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:33, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- I'm good with that too.--Yankees10 21:48, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- I think I'll make the move since it seems noncontroversial. – Muboshgu (talk) 14:05, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

Raúl A. Mondesí → Adalberto Mondesí – Per a team source, he is going by his middle name to disambiguate himself from his father. ONR (talk) 13:30, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- Support This is a case where you could've made the move yourself WP:BOLDLY without the full discussion period, though I suppose it's a good thing to err on the side of caution. "Raul A." doesn't exactly flow off the tongue, so there's no reason to think he'll be more commonly known that way now that I see him going by "Adalberto". – Muboshgu (talk) 00:06, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
