biased source for alleged support of UNOSOM
[edit]The only source of this statement is a report of the socio-political climate of Somaliland, "Somaliland and Peace in the Horn of Africa: A Situation Report and Analysis".
This is going to be biased towards the UN and UNOSOM and only makes reference of any support he gave as "Politically, Abdirahman "Tuur's" early dalliance with UNOSOM associated him and his group with an organisation for whom Somalis in general, and Somalilanders in particular, felt little but contempt and mistrust." This is going to be biased towards the UN and UNOSOM and only makes reference of any support he gave as "Politically, Abdirahman "Tuur's" early dalliance with UNOSOM associated him and his group with an organisation for whom Somalis in general, and Somalilanders in particular, felt little but contempt and mistrust." Which itself gives no further information on when this support was given or on other details("Failure of the Federal Platform", 3rd paragraph)
This statement should be dropped or be phrased differently ("He *may* have given supported to UNOSOM forces in southern regions of Somalia). 92.236.211.53 (talk) 01:47, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
