Merge Adverse abandonment

[edit]

I propose merging Adverse abandonment into Abandoned railway. Adverse abandonment is a one line definition which has no business being its own article. Ironmatic1 (talk) 06:06, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support merge Adverse abandonment is a real thing, to give one example, the Housatonic Railroad filed an objection to Metro-North Railroad's attempt to discontinue HRR's trackage rights and abandon the Beacon Line in 2021: [1]. But the subject makes more sense covered within this article than as a standalone stub, unless enough sources covering adverse abandonments can be found. Do you think I should go ahead and merge the text (a whole sentence!) and redirect the adverse page to the US section here, Trainsandotherthings? Doesn't seem like anyone else is gonna comment. Ironmatic1 (talk) 20:27, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No objections from me. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 22:59, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
