Goat Days → Aadujeevitham – The book is better known by its original Malayalam title. Malayala Sahityam (talk) 09:22, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom. This page must use the transliterated Malayalam title. Khestwol (talk) 11:36, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose until evidence offered from Google Books. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:11, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose: We should generally try to WP:USEENGLISH on the English Wikipedia.
- The first source cited in the article says its title in English is Goat Days.
- The second and third ones use Goat Days in the title of the source itself to identify the subject (and don't have Aadujeevitham in their titles).
- The fourth one is about how Goat Days is such a great translation that it has been shortlisted for the Man Asia Literary Prize, which is a prize specifically for works available in English.
- The fifth also talks about Goat Days as a great translated work and does not mention Aadujeevitham at all anywhere in the article.
- The sixth and seventh ones have Goat Days in their title or subtitle (and don't have Aadujeevitham in their title or subtitle).
- The eighth lists Aadujeevitham in its list of recipients of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. It is the only cited source that seems to use that title predominantly, and it is a mere list without any commentary whatsoever about the book.
- The ninth has Goat Days in its title, and does not mention Aadujeevitham anywhere in the article at all.
- The tenth is a dead link with neither name in its title, so I don't know what it once said.
- There are two additional external links – the first of which is the official web site for the English publication called Goat Days (which is a dead link, but obviously uses Goat Days to identify its topic).
- The other remaining external link is not in English at all, and I don't know what it says.
- Per English Wikipedia guidelines, we're supposed to pay attention to the common name in English-language sources, and it seems obvious from that survey that the common name in English-language sources is Goat Days. It may indeed be better known by its original Malayalam title, but it seems to be better known in English-language sources as Goat Days.

- Oppose WP:UE -- this has an English language title, so use it -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 05:45, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
