There was a group of 75 RS-11s #7219-7293 built for the National of Mexico in 1963-1964 by MLW. This was after regular RS-11 production was finished and superseded by the RS-36. Source X2200 South Issue #45 --SSW9389 19:58, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The text of the article says "... approximately 426 units built for the US and Mexico over 8 years of production ..." and the data in the sidebar says "total produced 356." Which is correct? — Mmathu (talk) 20:28, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]


Neither was correct, the actual total produced is 431 units which includes the five units exported to South Peru Copper. --SSW9389 (talk) 13:52, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
