Renaming of article

[edit]

From the 8th of February ABC TV Australia will be renamed ABC1 as the channel which this article is written on is now dissolved it is now not as important so could this article be renamed ABC1 (UK) so that the ABC TV Australia Can be renamed ABC1. Samualm (talk) 03:42, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem with that --AJFurnell (talk) 12:22, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, let ABC TV to move here, as now that ABC1 in defunct. --AxG @ talk 17:29, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, and I have now moved the article appropriately. I have also redirected the 'ABC1' page to 'ABC TV', until the channel is officially renamed to 'ABC1' next month. Stickeylabel (talk) 06:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Only just seen this move. Whilst a move is perhaps appropriate, I dont think the new name of the UK article as in the UK ABC1 also refers to social groupings. Perhaps ABC1 (UK television channel) is more appropriate? Pit-yacker (talk) 18:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Timetable

[edit]

I did the timetable of shows on the article but I'm not 100% sure about the programming. Sorry if there is, I will try and sort it out if I find anySamaster1991 22:10, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Justice

[edit]

Can someone please enter the company who makes In Justice, as I am unsure and the article looks messy and incomplete without it. I am refereing to the section about what shows ABC1 currently airs. Tomm123messenger 14:36, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Closure

[edit]

Dominic carey- ABC1 is to be axed on all platforms. Re-read the Broadcast article. It states: 'Walt Disney Television is to axe US entertainment channel abc1, which has a valuable Freeview slot'.[1] Cheers, TopGearDog 11:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ABC1 (UK & Ireland TV channel)ABC1 (UK & Irish TV channel) – This is pretty minor, but this should be at ABC1 (UK & Irish TV channel), not ABC1 (UK & Ireland TV channel), as per WP:NCBC and WP:NCTV. (See: List of adjectival and demonymic forms for countries and nations.) information Note: ABC1 is currently a redirect to ABC (Australian TV channel), FWIW. --IJBall (contribstalk) 20:55, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
