Lost Comet
[edit]Is there a source that declares this comet as lost? The source provided doesn't state any observations after 1988, but doesn't state that this comet is lost, which the article states.
- It is listed at the Minor Planet Center as lost comet 75D/Kohoutek. -- Kheider (talk) 14:01, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Kheider. I checked your source. Lots of orbital information with observation dates, but it doesn't use the term "lost". I'm not sure the term "lost" is something that's verifiable. Benkenobi18 (talk) 04:23, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
- But the "D/" designation means the comet is believed to be lost or destroyed. -- Kheider (talk) 08:37, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
