Possible GA

[edit]

Hello, I have looked at the article and it is not bad at all, it contains good information, references and covers the entire topic, I think that like "$456,000 Squid Game in Real Life!" This article can be GA without problems. So I'm telling user @Sahaib: (who has had two GAs) to see what he thinks of the idea. 2801:1CA:E:1411:E439:9F79:E143:3830 (talk) 21:49, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@2801:1CA:E:1411:E439:9F79:E143:3830 I'm not Sahaib, but I agree, will check problems later. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 23:41, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TheNuggeteer: It's an excellent idea for you to write the article, because I think it has the potential to be a GA. However, you would have to check if the article is well written and find a little more information: this and these sources can help you to add. Without further ado, I wish you luck with the article. 2801:1CA:E:1411:7571:318:9173:BD64 (talk) 20:26, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

Should be merged into Mrbeast 2605:8D80:420:39C1:7D8C:C44F:33C9:8042 (talk) 13:49, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should the fact that this was sponsored by Samsung be in the lead section?

[edit]

WP:LEAD says: It should identify the topic, establish context, explain why the topic is notable, and summarize the most important points, including any prominent controversies.

The sponsorship is not controversial afaik and it is not one of the most important points to know about the video. So I removed it from the lead section (it is still mentioned further down of course). Polygnotus (talk) 20:35, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Polygnotus: I based it off $456,000 Squid Game in Real Life! in which the sponsor of that video is mentioned in the lead. Without the sponsor the video would arguably not have been made and they play a prominent role in one of the challenges as mentioned in the article. I'm fine with it not being in the lead.
